Henry T. Shuler, age 72 of Townsend passed away, Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the family home. Preceded in death by beloved wife of 45 years Bobbie Lee Shuler; parents, Clyde and Georgia Mae Shuler; and infant sister, Nina. Survived by daughter, Rowena J. Law of Townsend; son, Tolbert Dale Shuler of Townsend; sisters and brothers in law, Nellie and Tommy Burchfield of Townsend, JoAnn and Glenn Kirpatrick of Clinton, Linda and Jeff Miland of Townsend, Karen and Bill Myers of Townsend; brothers and sisters in law, Clyde Ray and Bernice Shuler of Maryville, Clell and Betty Shuler of Townsend, Tommy and Gale Shuler of Townsend, Larry and Carol Shuler of Townsend; brother, Steve Shuler of Townsend; special friends, Dorothy Voellinger of Rochester, N.Y., and Leonard Hurst of Seymour. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2009 at Tuckaleechee Methodist Church, Townsend. Family and friends may call at convenience from 11 until 5 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
