Nicholas Anthony Savoca Jr., 1933-2009

Father of Passion Play cast member, Phillip Savoca

MANDEVILLE, La. – Nicholas Anthony Savoca Jr., age 75, of Mandeville, La., passed away on June 30, 2009.  Nicholas was born Sept. 8, 1933 in New Orleans, La., and was the husband of Sylvia Rose Savoca.   He was a skilled master carpenter and a leader in constructing oil refineries along the Miss. River in Louisiana.  He loved his family, his dogs, and his small vegetable garden.  Survivors include his wife, and his children, Lynn, Rosie, Judy, Nicholas III, Phillip, and Elizabeth.  His earthly body was cremated.
