Diane E. Skene, 1950-2009

Diane E. Skene, age 58, of Townsend, formerly of Bradenton, Fla., passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her.  Survivors include: husband of 30 years, Garry Skene of Townsend; children, James M. & Jamie Skene of Bradenton, Fla., Carolyn & Ben Tackett of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Rebecca & Jason Boswell of Spencer, Ind., Gail & Frederick Mott of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Robert P. & Michelle George of Bradenton, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; father, Donald S. Flowers Sr. of Bradenton, Fla.; brother, Donald S. Flowers, Jr. of Bradenton, Fla.  She ran like a gazelle, swam like a dolphin and she laughed easy.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements by Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville.
