Mobile device could detect brain injuries

WASHINGTON (VOA) – If you sustain a head injury today, even a mild one, you only have one choice: a trip to the hospital to determine the severity of your injury.  But now, the development of a new mobile brain scan device could change all that.  The device, under development, scans brain waves and will be able to, its developers say, prevent death in many cases.  VOA’s Laurel Bowman has more.
