U.S. considers new military strategy in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON (VOA) – President Obama is reviewing the security and military situation in Afghanistan as he considers whether to send additional US troops to the country.  A possible decision on a new war strategy follows a report presented to Mr. Obama by the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan.  The report outlined the deteriorating security situation but details have not been released.  VOA’s Chris Simkins reports.
