Lori Ann Potter, 43, of Maryville went home to be with Jesus on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009. She was a member of Six Mile Baptist Church and employed at Douglas Cooperative. Lori’s love in life was her church, family, friends and her job. To know Lori was to love her and be loved by her. Preceded in death by grandfather, Cleve Keller; and grandparents, Joe & Melvina Potter. Survivors include parents, J.D. & Pat Potter; sister & brother-in-law, Deane & Mike Raper; niece, Lora Raper; nephew, Steven Raper; grandmother, Ruth Keller; and many special aunts, uncles and cousins. She had a special life-long sweetheart, Craig Jones. A special thank you to her doctors and staff at Blount Memorial Hospital and especially the nurses on 5 East and MICU who cared for and loved Lori. Funeral service will be at 7 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009 at Six Mile Baptist Church, 4337 Montvale Road, with Rev. Charles Murrell & Rev. Greg Long officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Douglas Cooperative, 416 Home Ave., Maryville, TN 37801.
