Former Townsend students and alumni met this past weekend at the former Townsend High School for their annual reunion, held the first Saturday in August each year. Townsend High School closed with the graduating class of 1977, and consolidated with Walland, Porter, and Everett high schools to become Heritage High School in Maryville.
